When not riding you can find me...
Outside of riding bikes, I love finding other random things to do, some of the more chill things would be drawing/designing things and reading. When I get the chance, I love to surf and snowboard. One of my favourite things to do is go on huge backpacking missions and check out new spots. School and training take up a good amount of time as well!
I'm inspired by...
I'd say Jack Johnson is a pretty a solid inspiration for me because he’s pretty laid back, cares about the environment and just all around seems to live in a way that feels real and positive, also he finds good balance between things in his life.
Favourite riding spot?
My favourite riding spots got to be Lookout Mountain in Bellingham, Washington. Can't really beat the mix of stuff that the trails have there!
A moment that I am proud of in my riding career so far?
One thing I’m really proud of is coaching with Galbraith Gravity Racing. Watching a kid set a goal, put in the work on the after-school rides, and then achieve that goal is definitely special.
What I'm focused on next in my riding?
I'm definitely always working on finding consistency and staying steady through the highs and lows that get thrown at me in the season. Also, I feel like focusing on line choice and braking is always good!
Riding tip to someone striving to get to my level?
I'd say working on pumping, cornering and body position on the BMX track is useful because it’s fairly low risk and you can apply it to all other types of riding. It's also pretty fun!
