When not riding you can find me...

Usually at home in Shawnigan Lake doing some garage bike maintenance, hiking, editing youtube videos, playing some video games

I'm inspired by...

Lately I've been inspired by exploring new riding locations and trails. I get so stoked to find cool new trails, and also cool old trails too that maybe were forgotten about but still are fun. As a young racer I grew up inspired by watching Sam Hill, Steve Peat and Greg Minnaar.

Favorite riding spot?

Mount Prevost or some of the mossy, rocky, arbutus trails of southern Vancouver Island region.

A moment your proud of in your riding career so far?

I'm really proud of some of the video edits I've done- Higher Calling, Growing Pains, Generations, and others. I'm also proud to have been the BC Cup DH overall champion twice and being on the Canadian National DH team 3 years.

What are you focused on next with your riding?

I want to ride unique locations and build some beautiful lines that inspire people to go riding.

Riding tip to someone striving to get to your level?

I think to get better just ride what you are having fun at, and when you are not enjoying that anymore try a different a riding style. Mountain biking is so varied from dirt jumping, to downhill and everything in between. You should follow what you enjoy and that way you don't get burnt out and you'll gain some skills that will cross-over to the other disciplines too. If you are enjoying the riding then you will be in it for the long run and you'll progress without it feeling like a chore.
