Trail Pant

By far my favorite non-DH pants. Comfy, great fit, nice detailing with the vent placement and silicone grippers in the waistband, etc.

If I may offer a few suggestions:
The D3O padding is only on the right phone pocket. It's a clever feature, but I doubt it will actually protect a phone from impact. I say this as a person that has broken an iphone over my thigh on a tree. A phone pocket should really just protect it from scratches. The fact that it's only on one side is a bit of a bummer for left-thigh phone people like me.

No matter which side you use, the phone pocket needs some venting. Or perhaps a DWR coating on the interior as well. Body moisture gets into this pocket, and the exterior DWR prevents it from escaping. I've never had a set of riding pants where I pull my phone out of my pocket and it's straight up WET from sweat.

That is all. These are still better than Fox, TLD, etc. I hope these two issues get fixed. If so, I'll probably be buying more and evangelizing to my buddies!

The AKTA Trail pant is a great fitting pant in a three season material. Mine are also subtle enough in style and graphics that they are usually unrecognized as bike pants when doing the after ride social or grocery shopping. The fabric has a crisp, firm feel and because of the light weight fabric they dry quickly and don’t soak up water to end up feeling heavy when saturated. These pants are clearly designed for all-day trail and enduro riding. The fit is slim and athletic providing excellent mobility. They're lightweight enough for a lot of pedalling and feel durable enough to withstand aggressive riding. The 4-way stretch fabric ensures comfort, and the pants are particularly noted for their ability to shed dirt quickly and maintain comfort during long rides. My AKTA knee pads fit perfectly within the pant’s knee area without being too loose or tight. Goldie-Locks style combined with water repellence and environmental responsibility made this a choice I'm happy to have made.
I’m so tempted to buy another pair or two.

The fit is spot on. Length perfect. Room for knee pads. And super durable pocket for your phone

I have been using these pants for daily commuting in the fall / winter for almost 2 seasons now. After apx 5000km the pants still look perfect. Not a single stitch worn through or even a pill in the fabric. Other brands I have used in the past are toast after half that time. Obviously its a different demand than proper MTB, but a pretty great testament to the durability.
The pocket design is 10/10 on these pants also. It's something i really didn't think i cared about, but I can toss my phone in one and my keys in the other and not notice them at all on the ride. No annoying key jingle at all and no thigh stabbing.

As Ned Flanders would say in his special speed pants. The fit is amazing and blends so many great qualities like they stretchy waist to the ratchet clasp, amazing piece of gear!! Plus the colours are dope!
