RETURNS

  • Customers pay shipping for returned items.
  • Items must be returned within 30 days of the date is was shipped.
  • Product must be in new condition, unwashed, and with original packaging.
  • Returns will only be processed with a Return Authorization number.
  • Exchanges for size / colour is the responsibility of the customer and must be done through the returns process.
  • Only items purchased through our webstore can be returned directly to Akta.  All retail purchases must be returned to the original authorized dealer.  
  • Once an item is received and return is approved, a refund will be issued.

Shipping Options

We offer economy and expedited shipping options. All FREE SHIPPING will be sent economy and have the option of upgrading to expedited for the difference in cost.

Order Processing

We will try to get your order processed as soon as possible, but in most cases it will take up to 72 hours except for long weekends and holidays. Long weekends can take up to 96 hours as we might just be off doing whatever it is you’re probably doing. Customers will be notified well ahead of holidays on when it is optimal to have your orders in by.

Order Tracking

Orders are confirmed by email receipt and shipping confirmation with tracking number.

Returns

The customer is responsible for return shipping unless there was an error with the order. Return orders must be received by Akta within 30 days.

Awesome pads and customer support

Pads are very comfortable and light.
Unfortunately, a defect appeared on one of the pad after a few months of riding. A new pair was sent to me within days. Best in class customer support. Will buy again from Akta for sure.

Trail Knee Pads - part 2

My last review was written during the winter, so it was not accurate. The size ordered is large.

With a summer of riding, I can say these are very good knee pads. The construction is quality. The fit is just right. I never need to readjust them. The D3O pad in conjunction with the additional pad around the main, works.

To the people at Akta, keep listening to the riders! You are making great products.

Knee pads

Fit great stay in place, no annoying Velcro that sticks to everything , get a little hot when it’s warm out but fall is right around the corner

Hands down best pads ive ever used

No scrarchy velcro. Low profile so they work great under riding pants or shorts. Lots of coverage. Covers part of the shin. Great quality and feel very robust unlike some other brands I've used. Flex points are perfect on the large. I ride with them all day and literally forget they are on. Overly impressed.

Wanted to love but…

I have worn these in various different types of climates and riding types (bike park, or trail) and unfortunately have decided to stop wearing them because they cut into my leg. This is especially prone to rides that are more pedally and more so on my right leg. I found they slip unless I pull them extremely high up. Lastly; they are pretty big and hot if you’re riding in the high 80s+ and not at a bike park.

Maybe they’re are just not made with women in mind but hasn’t been a great experience for the price.

Our pads have become the standard of pads that stay up for long rides, surprised to hear they slide down for you. Maybe a different size would help here?
